Ti Uru & Ki O Rahi

This week we learned about two game's Ti Uru and Ki O Rahi. Ki O Rahi was a really confusing game because it was a game I have never played before. There are a lot of rules that you have to flow and there was a lot of different sections where we were allowed to go and not allowed to go. Ti Ura was fun to play because it was not as confusing as Ki O Rahi and you can get the hang of it in no time.

Kabaddi

This week we learned about the game's Korfball and Kabaddi. Korfball is a game which is similar to Netball and Basketball, Korfball first started in 1902 by a Dutch school teacher from Amsterdam. Kabaddi is a game that first started in India. These days Kabaddi is being played in many different ways.

Palin

We learnt about a game that has been around for over 1000 years. The game Palin comes for Chile. Palin is similar to hockey apart from the field is 200 meters long and 12 meters wide. We had to go down to the beach to get our sticks because that is what they use to play the game. I enjoyed having  to go down to the beach to try and find the sticks to play with. I didn't enjoy how cold it was when we played.

Working Independently and Time Management

For unit 1 I think I am showing the following  time management skill level I have chosen this because: I am on task most of the time and get my work done when it’s meant to be done. I have evidence for choosing this level from class when: w e did the Anne Frank task how we had to find out information about he and what she went through and then make a presentation about her. For unit 1 I think I am showing the following working independently skill level I have chosen this because: I can still work independently and still do my work without getting destroyed/going of task. I have evidence for choosing this level from class when: w e got set sets and I had to work independently and I still did all of my work as I did before. This was the first unit we were working on, Cultural diversity. I started with making a survey for one of my classmates and wanted to fine out what the through/new about cultural Diversity.  The person I sent my form to said that she lik...

2 Techniques

Today in music the 2 Music Techniques that I will be working on is the strum of our song that I am learning and playing in time with Sophie. With the strum I know it I just need to play it right and not play it to fast or too slow. With playing in time I need to work on is getting to more my fighters fast to keep up with Sophie so that we can play in time. We changed the strum that we were working on so that I did a loud strum and Sophie did little but fats strums and today was the first day that we played the song right. With the chances,  I just play the cored once and Sophie played it 8 times and it worked out because I am not as good as playing as she is.
